Kōrero ki ōtautahi
Ko wai mātou?
Kōrero ki Ōtautahi is a community group that aims to support speakers and learners of te reo Māori in and around Ōtautahi, by creating spaces to whakanui our reo rakatira. We host events and wānaka, both formal and informal, with the goal of normalising te reo Māori in and around the city, with the hopes of making Ōtautahi a bi-lingual city.
How do I get involved?
Whether you are a fluent speaker or just beginning your journey, there are many ways to tautoko our mission of making Ōtautahi a truly bi-lingual city.
By joining Kōrero ki Ōtautahi, you become part of a vibrant community dedicated to the normalization of te reo Māori through both formal wānaka and informal social gatherings.
To get started, we invite you to attend our upcoming events, join our active Facebook group to stay connected with fellow learners and speakers, or reach out directly via our contact form with any inquiries.
Together, we can create more spaces to whakanui our reo rakatira and ensure the Māori language is heard and celebrated throughout the city.
