At the beginning of the year, we became a charitable trust and this helped us be successful in receiving several grants that will help us tautoko our reo and hapori. Mihi mahana ki a koutou to our major funders: Rātā Foundation, Christchurch City Council: Strengthening Communities and the Lotteries commission.
Looking forward to 2026, we have lots of kaupapa planned. Our new rōpū waiata kicks off at the end of Hānuere, plus we’re hoping to double-down on the whakawhanaukataka with a series of noho marae held around Waitaha.
